This site has been developed as a support system for using the main instructional strategies you have learned.

Each link will provide you with a summary of the strategy, a synopsis of when to use the strategy and a sample lesson.

Remember when planning a lesson to consider these three components:

1. Task Analysis: State the objective and break the task down into its fewest and simplest parts.

2. Learners: Determine age, background, and other pertinent facts about the group using the lesson.

3. Context: Determine how the lesson fits into the big picture, curriculum, world knowledge.
